Biography
Dr. Evan Frank has practiced pain management in the Philadelphia area since 1988. After completing an MD-PhD program at the University of Pennsylvania, he completed residency training in both Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology, followed by a Pain Fellowship in Pain Management.
Dr. Frank’s first job out of residency was at Jefferson University, where he focused on developing pain management services. He served as Director of the Pain Center, where he provided direct patient care and trained residents and fellows in pain management. He also directed an ABMS-certified Pain Management Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia from 1994 through 2003. He has trained over 30 pain management fellows, many of whom still work in the Philadelphia area.
Dr. Frank is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and has additional qualifications in Pain Management. His clinical interest centers on the treatment of spinal-related pain as well as neuropathic pain syndromes. His treatments are primarily fluoroscopically guided spinal injections, minimally invasive spine procedures, spinal cord stimulation, and medication management.
