Biography
Sharon Folger is a physician assistant at Main Line Spine. She received undergraduate degrees in radiology at Chestnut Hill Hospital and Hahnemann University Hospital. She earned her Bachelor of Science and certification in Physician Assistant studies from Philadelphia University.
Her scope of practice includes treatment of joint and musculoskeletal injuries and joint injections; treatment of arthritis and chronic orthopedic conditions; and evaluation and treatment of spine disorders. Prior to her specializing in orthopedic medicine, she practiced family medicine for six years.
Before obtaining her physician assistant degree, Ms. Folger was a radiology technologist in the hospital setting, performing imaging procedures in general and interventional radiology. Sharon holds professional memberships with the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the National Commission on Certification of Physical Assistants, the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants, and the American Registry of Radiology Technologists. Ms. Folger brings a diversified background in orthopedic medicine, family medicine, and radiology to Main Line Spine.
